Elastic office
What does Elastic office mean?
Office space has been a necessary cost of doing business. However, since hybrid working became the norm, we see the definition of how much space is truly “necessary” being redefined. The office is just the physical space within four walls which does not extend beyond that. With an elastic office, an organization can have an office smaller than their requirements in square feet and extend the workplace outside the four walls, as employees can work from anywhere. As a result, a company can fluctuate in size (being elastic) by getting bigger and coming back down to size as needed.
