Reverse Desk Hoteling

What Is Reverse Desk Hoteling?

Reverse desk hoteling is intended to completely optimize space usage in the office while offering flexibility and accessibility. Reverse hoteling refers to when an employee that has an assigned desk or work area offers up their desk to a flexible pool of desks, so that other employees can book it when it is not occupied. This form of desk hotelling is commonly used when an employee, works remote, goes on vacation or is out of the office for the day. Once the employee returns to the office the desk is theirs again. This requires a structured desk booking solution, to optimise use of desk resources.
