| Q.: Can the directory path that will contain a user's email have periods (dots) in it? |
A.: When we get the POP or IMAP server name and user name, we create the subdirectory replacing all periods (dot) with underscores. So the directory path is always created using underscores instead of periods.
The reason we replace dots with underscores is that in some systems will issue a security arror if you attempt to read a directory that contains a period.
For example: MessagePath: C:\ATTACHMENTS
Pophost: ATX.NL
Accountname: Patrick.Jones
The directory which will be created is: C:\ATTACHMENTS\ATX_NL\PATRICK_JONES

| Q.: How do I enter the serial number? |
| A.: At the end of the installation, you are prompted to enter the serial number. If you have purchased a license of Mail Objects, enter the serial number here otherwise select Trial. Selecting Trial will give you a trial period of 15 days. | Q.: How fast does Mail Objects send messages? |
| A.: The throughput of Mail Objects is dependent upon several factors, including size of the message, speed and load of the your mail server and of the mail server of your recipient and speed of your Internet connection. Mail Objects does not have any control over these variables, but it relies on an engine written in C (not even C++) so that it can do its part as fast as possible. See also the FAQ regarding "Can I send multiple messages using the EasySend method without connecting and disconnecting after each message?" for a discussion on improving your throughput. |
