I cannot connect to a public host. Why?
Enter the host name exactly as listed. Do not put HTTP:// or www in front of the domain name; do not put a period after the name.
If IntelliTerm will not connect, open your Command Prompt interface and type
C:\>telnet orbis.yale.edu
Type: vt100 when prompted. If you still cannot connect to any public host, the problem is with your system, network, ISP or you do not have permissions from your system administrator to do this.
