I want to hide the screen in a HLLAPI session.
You cannot completely hide the screen but it can be minimized on startup. To force newly spawned sessions in minimized mode (iconized and visible), add the following line to the [EHLLAPI.Settings] section in the ITERM.INI file.
Start Minimized = On
